Ughandan Thunder 2011

 Ughandan Thunder

Ugandan Thunder, a group of 18 boys and girls, ages 8—11, from Uganda, East Africa.

“Ugandan Thunder” sings some of your favorite hymns, African and American style, plus they present music in their native Lugandan tongue.  It is a wonderful, high energy concert, along with some great percussion music from the African drums.

In addition to the musical presentation, the children also share about growing up in a land that has been ravaged by a twenty-year war, poverty, AIDS, and malaria.  You will see how their faith in God has changed their hopeless lives into lives with great meaning and purpose.

The group “Ugandan Thunder” is sponsored by “Pennies for Posho”, a non-profit Christian organization that is committed to feeding the hungry children of Africa.

It is a worship service like no other, and one that will bless the whole family.  For more information on how you and your church can schedule “Ugandan Thunder” please call the Harmony Baptist Church office at (334) 222-8117, or contact:
