A New Heart

Dear Friends,

On New Year’s Eve, my 41 year old niece received a heart transplant that she has been waiting for, for 3 years; when a virus attacked her heart and slowly destroyed it. We are all so grateful for this gift of life and pray that she will recover and become the strong vibrant women she once was before. Regretfully, one had to die so that another may live.

Jesus, because of His great love for us, willingly gave His life for us. His heart was broken because of our sins, and when we receive this free gift, our blackened hearts are made new.

Isaiah 1:18 says “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Romans 10:9,10 says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Have you received this free gift? Do you have a new heart? If not please receive Jesus in to your heart today.

God’s Blessings in this New Year,

Ellie Dodge, Prayer Coordinator
